The Gujarat Council of Science City celebrated World Science Day for Peace and Development in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm. Hon’ble Minister Shri Arjun Modhwadia, Minister for Science & Technology, Forests, Environment and Climate Change, Government of Gujarat, marked his special presence on the occasion. Science City’s Executive Director Shri Vimal Patel was also present and inspired the audience with his encouraging presence. At the beginning of the program, Shri Modhwadia launched the DIY STEM Kit designed for Class 9 students as per their curriculum, and also unveiled the International Year of Quantum Science 2025 booklet. In his address, the Minister highlighted the importance of World Science Day, stating that science is a fundamental pillar of peace and development. He discussed in detail the remarkable scientific progress achieved globally, as well as in India and Gujarat. He also spoke in a simple and engaging manner about advancements in emerging fields such as Quantum Science and Artificial Intelligence.
