
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Chhattisgarh on Saturday to inaugurate a series of developmental projects, address public gatherings, and participate in state-level celebrations marking 25 years of the formation of Chhattisgarh.
The Prime Minister’s visit will begin in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, where he will interact with around 2,500 children successfully treated for congenital heart diseases under the ‘Gift of Life’ programme at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital as part of the ‘Dil Ki Baat’ initiative. Later, he will inaugurate “Shanti Shikhar” of Brahma Kumaris, a modern centre for spiritual learning, peace, and meditation.
At the new premises of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly in Nava Raipur, Prime Minister Modi will unveil the statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Built on the Green Building concept, the new assembly structure is designed to operate on solar power and includes a rainwater harvesting system. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the building and address the gathering on the occasion.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister will visit and inaugurate the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum, which highlights the courage and patriotism of the state’s tribal communities. He will also launch the Museum Portal and e-book Aadi Shourya and unveil a horse-mounted statue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh.
