As of Sunday morning, Gujarat has completed over 102 percent of its average monsoon rainfall. The average is counted through last ten years monsoon rainfall data. Central government’s Weather arm IMD has predicted further rainfall across the State and also put several districts under Red alert. This is yet another year in recent past in which the State has achieved 100 percent rainfall, meaning normal monsoon season.The rainfall has been well across the regions of Gujarat with Kutch 99.17%, North Gujarat 106.50 percent, East Central Gujarat 107.34 percent, Saurashtra 91.29 percent and South Gujarat 107.99 percent.
