Due to heavy rainfall in the state, many rivers and lakes have received abundant water. In North Gujarat, water levels in rivers have risen due to heavy rainfall in various districts and cities. The inflow of water in the Sabarmati River has also increased.As water is released from the Dharoi Dam, the walkways of the Sabarmati Riverfront have been submerged. All materials related to the bullet train work on the Sabarmati River have been washed away.Water has overflowed onto the riverfront walkway from the Sabarmati Indira Bridge to the railway overbridge. The lower promenade on the east side of the Sabarmati Riverfront has been closed.Due to heavy rainfall in North Gujarat, water is being released from Dharoi Dam and Sant Sarovar Dam, leading to a significant increase in the inflow of water into the Sabarmati River. As water is released, the walkways of the Sabarmati Riverfront have been submerged.With bullet train work ongoing near the Subhash Bridge railway overbridge, a section on the left side from Indira Bridge to Subhash Bridge has been kept open for water inflow, resulting in the submergence of the riverfront walkways.
