As per reports, the incident took place near Amar Jawan Circle, where MLA Patel was accompanied by councillors Baldev Patel, Deepak Panchal, Usha Rohit, Vilas Desai, and party office bearers.

Tension flared in Ahmedabad’s Nikol area after residents surrounded Daskroi MLA Babu Jamnadas Patel during his visit with four BJP councillors to hear public grievances.  The situation escalated when councillor Baldev Patel allegedly spoke harshly to residents after they raised complaints about poor roads, overflowing drainage, lack of clean drinking water, and waterlogging during rains.
