Recently the government has decided to increase the salary of the Assistants on fixed salary of the Granted Colleges, the Assistants have been given the salary increment from the date of resolution. But the salary increment given to the administrative staff on fixed salary on 1st July has been given with arrears of 9 months. On the other hand, teachers complain that a graduate pass employee is paid 49,600 and a NEET-Slate-PhD pass teacher is given only 52,000. Assistant teachers working in more than 300 grant-aided colleges of the state complain that the government has increased the salary by 30 percent after several representations and 52 1000 monthly salary. But in the salary increase resolution passed on 13th September, it has been provided that the salary increase will be implemented from the date of the resolution. On the other hand, the resolution that has been given to give salary increase to the administrative employees on fixed salary working in the state-granted colleges on 1st July 2024, will be implemented on 1st October. Provision has been made to do it from 2023. Thus fixed salary class-3 and class-4 administrative employees have also been given arrears of 9 months. While 800 temporary assistants have suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees.
Apart from this, the salary of junior to senior level clerks and other categories of grantee colleges has been increased by Rs 16,224 to Rs 21,100, from Rs 19,950 to Rs 26,000, from Rs 31,340 to Rs 40,800 and from Rs 38,090 to Rs 49,600. A lot of assistants complain that even the administrative staff have been given a pay rise and it is necessary and good to get more pay. But the government has done a great injustice to the Agyapak helpers compared to them. While school teachers and college clerks get a salary of Rs 49600, NET, PhD pass students are paid only Rs 2400 more. A representation was also made to Aghyapak Mandal in this regard but why no representation or attention is drawn to the government by the Mandal. While the president of the Aghyapak Mandal says that there is injustice to the Aghyapaks in both these matters and for that the government will be seriously presented and punished.
