Mumbai: Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Triranga was announced last month. Now there is an update about this film that Sanjay Pooran Singh Chauhan is going to direct this film. Also, the shooting of this film is likely to be started in the month of December this year. Director Sanjay Pooran Singh Chauhan had previously directed Lahore and 72 Hura. Both these films won National Awards. The director and Akshay were to work together in the film Gurkha but the film later got shelved. Earlier there was a discussion that Triranga would be a remake of Nana Patekar Raj Kumar’s 1993 film Triranga. However, later the producer clarified that it was not a remake, dismissing this as a rumour. It is also said that this will be a film with a new and original script.
