Locals have repeatedly lodged complaints with the Mines and Minerals Office with anecdotal evidence of illegal mining of sand near Karnet-Ratanpur Bridge near Vadodara city and loading it into tractors. But due to Milli Bhagat with the account, the sand mafia was informed in advance before going to investigate. As a result, spot checks yield nothing. As a result, the locals submitted an application at the Collector’s office. It may be mentioned that sand is being mined openly under the Karnet-Ratanpur bridge near the city and the sand is being transported in tractors by sand mafias.
