Last month, the government announced the recruitment of 24,700 teachers in government schools amid agitation by TAT and TET candidates, but did not announce the recruitment of teachers for subjects like computers. The notification for the recruitment of TAT Higher Secondary was supposed to be published on September 1, but as the date was not published, the candidates of TAT-TAT candidates have sounded the alarm in Gandhinagar on Teacher’s Day. According to the information received, the notification for 4000 posts was to be announced on September 1, but as it was not announced, the prospective teachers have entered the field on Teachers’ Day itself. Today on Tet Teacher’s Day Tet-Tat candidates reached Gandhinagar to submit their application letter to the Chief Minister.
As many as 25 candidates who had reached the Gandhinagar Secretariat for the agitation were detained from Gate No. 1, while other candidates gathered near Ch 3 Circle in Gandhinagar and started the Rasta Roko agitation. They are raising slogans with the demand of recruitment, increasing seats in recruitment, computer teacher. It is worth mentioning here that the candidates are agitating under the leadership of youth leader Yuvraj Singh.
