Surat : Surat Municipal Corporation issues notices to tax payers to enforce the rules but does not take any action against those who violate the rules by not paying any tax. At present, the fire department of the municipality has started issuing notices if the vehicles are left outside the parking lot in the residential societies of the city. But no action is taken against illegal pushers outside the society or on every four roads of the city. People are angry because of such a policy of the municipality. It has become a topic of discussion among the people that the municipality is strict against those who pay tax but no action is taken against those who push on the road without paying any kind of tax. The fire department of the Surat Municipal Corporation has now gone to the residential society of the city and protested against the vehicles parked outside the building parking area of the society i.e. on the internal road of the society. According to the fire department, if any accident happens in the society, there is a problem for the movement of fire vehicles. So no vehicles are allowed to park on the road except for parking. Most of the societies in Surat have more number of vehicles than flats. So at some places a vehicle is parked on the side of the road in such a way that other vehicles can pass through it, it is provoking the municipal system and it is being given a notice to park elsewhere. The fire department of the municipality has started issuing fire notices in the societies of Palanpore Canal Road in Surat today. It has been urged to create a printed facility from 1 to 14. But this same notice is given to all. No specific reason is presented in it. However, verbally it has been urged that the vehicle is not parked on the road.
