After 12 years of hard work, the grand ISKCON temple has been completed in Kharagpur, Navi Mumbai. This temple will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 15th of next month. The temple has been named Radha Madanmohanji Temple. According to the information received, 170 crore rupees have been spent on the construction of this temple. Temple trustee and president Surdas Prabhu said that this temple will become a big spiritual center in modern times.
Will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi:
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a cultural center and a Vedic museum here. The image of India’s great culture will be seen in it. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come to see the temple even during its construction. He came to see the working of this temple during his visit to Navi Mumbai on October 12. He said that this temple looks very grand amidst the greenery of Navi Mumbai. The inauguration program of the temple will start from January 9 itself. After that, this program will last for a week. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it on January 15. According to the information given on the temple website, the temple will be inaugurated on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. This temple will also have Bhaktivedanta College of Vedic Education, a library, Ayurvedic healing center, cowshed, ashram for senior citizens, organic farming. Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar may also participate in this program. Spiritual seminars, bhajan evenings, cultural programs will also be organized during the week-long program. Idols of Dashavatar have also been installed in this temple.
