An engineering student from Vadodara’s small Sakarda village won a bronze medal for India at the Skill Olympics

Vadodara: Dhrumil Gandhi, a resident of a small Sakarda village near Vadodara and an engineering student, has won a bronze medal for India in the World Skill Competition i.e. Skill Olympics. Dhrumil and his colleague and native Satyajith Balakrishnan from Kerala competed in the Skill Olympics’ Industry 4.0 category. India has won a medal for the first time in this category. Skill Olympics were organized in France from September 11 to 14. In which competitions were organized in 52 different categories focusing on skills. India’s competitors won a total of four bronze medals and included Gujarat’s team Dhrumil and Satyajith. Before participating in the Skill Olympics, they had to compete with teams from 10 other states at the national level. Which was organized by National Skill Development Corporation of Government of India. After winning the gold medal, Dhrumil and Satyajit were selected for the Skill Olympics.
