Rajkot : The ACB filed a case against Mansukh Dhanjibhai Sagathia, a former TPO of the Municipal Corporation and a class-1 officer, who is one of the main accused in the Rajkot TRP Game Zone fire incident, in connection with disproportionate assets worth crores. At the end of the investigation, the ACB has submitted an 800-page charge sheet in the court.ACB went against Mansukh Sagathia. On 19-6-2024 Rs. A case was filed regarding disproportionate property worth 10.55 crores. After that a sit was constituted in this case. Sagathia was arrested by the ACB SIT in this crime and after confiscating his brother’s office in the Twin Star Tower building, Rs. 14.84 lakh gold-silver jewellery, Rs. 3.05 crore in cash and Rs. 1.82 lakh foreign currency received totaling Rs. 17.91 crore was recovered. In this way, a total of 28 crores of Sagathia’s disproportionate assets were found. However, at the end of ACB’s investigation, the number of disproportionate assets was reduced to Rs. 24.31 crore has reached. In this regard, ACB sources said that the number of assets has been reduced disproportionately as some legitimate income of the accused has been found. The present disproportionate assets of Rs 24.31 crore is 628.42 percent more than the legal income of the accused, according to the charge sheet filed in the ACB court. This charge sheet is 800 pages long. But the total number of papers in it is 16,230. ACB has taken the statements of 78 witnesses in this case. 85 documentary evidences have been presented along with it. It is worth mentioning here that a special PP has also been appointed in this case.
