The event introduced a structured, strategy-driven format of the classic game to the city, drawing enthusiastic participation from gaming aficionados.
Held at Ishaara, located on the fourth floor of Palladium Ahmedabad, the tournament offered a unique and socially engaging environment. Known for its inclusive dining concept, Ishaara is powered by a speech and hearing-impaired service team and features a thoughtfully curated menu inspired by regional Indian flavours, making it an ideal venue for an interactive and community-driven event like Mahjong.
Organised by Lets Mahjong, the tournament witnessed participation from 36 players, including enthusiasts travelling from Vadodara, highlighting the growing popularity of the game and its expanding inter-city appeal. The competition was conducted in a structured and disciplined format, emphasising skill, strategy, and precision. Participants competed for ranking points on the national leaderboard, adding a competitive edge to the experience.
Through initiatives such as the Indian Mahjong League, Lets Mahjong is actively working towards building a formal ecosystem for Mahjong in India, fostering greater awareness and participation across cities.
