Abdullahpur Ka Devdas holds a very special place in my heart. I am grateful to my fans across the globe who have shown immense love to Gulbano, making It the highly anticipated show this year. Q.3 What preparations did you do for your role in the show? Describe your experience with your co-actors from ‘Ahsas’ ? Who is your favourite co-actor?
It was a lot of fun and learning on the set of Ahsas I was playing Hina, who marries an older man (Nauman Ijaz) who has lost his wife. In that sense I was playing a mother to kids who are same age as me. Along with Naumaj Ijaz Ji, there was Wahaj Ali, Ghana Ali, Nida Mumtaz Ji as well in the show. It was my first project with Nauman Ijaz ji and personally, i am a huge fan of his work and he is an excellent actor. Having said that i feel each one brought their unique energy and talent to the table, creating a collaborative & comfortable atmosphere on set. It is truly challenging to pick out a favorite co-actor because each collaboration brings its own unique charm and learning experience. I’ve been fortunate to work with an such talented individuals who have not only enriched my professional journey but have also become great friends off-screen.
Q.4 Can you tell us a little bit about your role in the show?
In Ahsas, I play the character of Hina, who is a young lower middle-class woman, shouldering the responsibility of providing for her loved ones as the sole breadwinner.
She gets married to an older man, played by Nauman Ijza, who has just lost his wife. Hina’s journey with Adil (Nauman ji) isn’t defined by age or circumstance but by the depth of their connection. Despite the misconceptions, societal judgment, family unacceptance, and challenges thrown her way, Hina shows resilience in the face of adversity. Throughout the journey, she embodies strength, compassion, and unwavering integrity, leaving a lasting impact on those around her and proving that love and kindness can triumph over adversity.
