Ma Umia’s Dhaja Mohotsav at Unjha is starting from today. The festival was inaugurated by the Chief Minister this morning. In which 1868 sisters reached Mataji’s temple on a huge pilgrimage from Uma Bagh.The grand Dhaja festival begins with the Bhadrava Sud nom on the divine supernatural shrine of Umiya Mataji at Unjha. Today on Wednesday morning, the Chief Minister has inaugurated the Dhaja Mohotsav. After the honoring ceremony of Uthmani donors was held at Umiya Bagh, a huge jewelery procession of 1868 sisters took off from Uma Bagh and reached Mataji’s temple. Dhaja festival has been started by hoisting Vijay Ghwaja, main Sikh Dhaja, four Dhajas of the four directions of the peak and four Dhajas of Rangmandap at the temple of Maa Kuldevi Umiya Mataji. During the festival, lakhs of devotees will bow down at the feet of Umiya Mataji in the unbroken form of Maa Kuldevi and feel blessed for seven days. Since the temple was established in the year 1868, in addition to 1868 dhajas, 11,111 dhajas will be hoisted.

Dhaja will be offered in sequence:

Dhaja festival has been started in the morning on the day of Bhadravi name. Dhaja festival will be celebrated for seven days. Seven days early in the morning, after the Mangala Aarti in the temple, Dhajao will be climbed to the peak in an orderly and disciplined manner. In the evening, the Dhaja program will be adjourned after the aarti in the temple. A grand welcome will be given to the devotees who come with dhaja. Umia Mataji Sansthan has arranged breakfast, water, tea and bhajan prasad for the devotees from the temple. The organization’s strategy for Dhaja Mohotsav is being prepared by the Honorary Minister, Board of Trustees and various committees of the organization. In the courtyard of Umiya Mata Mandir, we were welcomed with the sound of dhol nagara and bhungal. More than 250 Sanghas and Mandals will join to participate in Dhaja Mohotsav. Approximately 20 lakh devotees will visit Ma Umiya Mataji. Seva camps have been started all around Unjha to serve the devotees who come on foot. Various 40 committees manage the activities of the organization.
