On the occasion of World Tourism Day Gujarat Chhattisgarh Food Festival 2024 was organized by IHM Ahmedabad in collaboration with India Tourism Mumbai and IHM Raipur under the banner of GOI’s “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Abhiyan”. Dignitaries also attended Dr. Lavina Sinha, IPS, DCP, Cyber Crime, Gujarat Police attended as the chief guest and addressed the students of IHM both Ahmedabad and Raipur as well as schools, hoteliers, alumni, entrepreneurs and media friends. The extravaganza program featured various cultural dances. Demonstrations were showcased and the highlight of the event was a wonderful array of Chhattisgari dishes including yaya sharbat, amat, boir guda, fara, chirpoti chutney (ant chutney), mahuva pulao, cooli dal, angakar roti, parsa paan, page, curry by Team IHM Raipur. And dishes like Makhana Barfi were prepared. While the team of IHM Ahmedabad distributed Gujarati dishes – Khaman, Patra, Khichdi, Kadhi, Thepla, Bhakri, Sev Tameta, Lashaiya Bataki, Sambharo, Chaas and Basundi. This special event on World Tourism Day, 27th September 2024, Gujarat-Chhattisgarh Food Festival. It was conceived to enhance and promote mutual understanding between the people of the two states in the areas of language education, culture, traditions and music, tourism and cuisine, sports and sharing.
