Datia district has been experiencing heavy rains since September 10. Due to which today (September 12th) the wall of Rajgarh Fort collapsed in Khalkapura area. The rubble of the wall fell on the crude houses and the huts built beneath them. Nine family members of Niranjan Vanshkar and his sister were buried under the rubble. As soon as this accident happened, chaos was created in the area. People present nearby started pulling people out from the rubble. Meanwhile, people alleged that the attitude of the district administration regarding the incident was negligent. Even after continuous rain for the last three days, the administration did not inspect the dilapidated houses. People alleged that the victim’s family informed the administration about this. But officers and personnel reached the spot after about three hours. Even after 4 hours of the incident, no rescue operation has been carried out. The road to reach where people were buried is also narrow. In this regard, officials said that at present we cannot say anything on camera.
