A dead body of a student preparing for UPSC has been found hanging on a tree in a forest area located in North-West Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area. According to police, the body of Deepak Kumar Meena, a resident of Rajasthan’s Dausa, was found on September 20 in a forest area near the library of a coaching institute. The student had been missing for several days. A police official said, preliminary investigation has revealed that Deepak Kumar Meena committed suicide. The police found the body of Deepak Kumar in a mutilated condition. The police have started investigating the CCTV cameras.
Student missing since September 10:
According to Deepak Kumar Meena’s father, his son came to Delhi in July to prepare for Mains after clearing the UPSC Prelims exam. Every evening he called home. The family members last spoke to him on September 10. The father came to Delhi to look for his son as the call did not come till September 13. Deepak’s father went to his PG. Other students staying with him said that he did not come home for two days. Later, he filed a missing complaint with the police. Meena’s dead body was found during the investigation.
No suicide note found:
The police officer said that it is suspected that Deepak went to the forest after studying in the library. Deepak’s bag was hanging from that tree. And no suicide note was found there. After postmortem, the body was handed over to the family.
