Vadodara: Police have planned tight security in Vadodara city in view of Ide-Milad tomorrow on Monday and Ganesh Visharan on Tuesday. Additional police force has been called in to ensure that the festivals of both religions are celebrated in a peaceful atmosphere. Apart from this, the police will also keep a close watch with technical equipment including CCTV. The police have become more vigilant regarding the incidents of stone pelting during Ganeshotsav in some cities of the state. The police commissioner will directly monitor the situation on the day of Eid-Milad and Ganesh Visharan. In which the Joint Commissioner of Police, Additional Commissioner of Police, five Deputy Commissioners of Police, 12 Assistant Commissioners of Police, 57 PIs, 165 PSIs, 3,200 police personnel will be present in the city.
