Terrorists attacked a CRPF team in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur on Monday. A CRPF inspector has been martyred in this attack. This CRPF team was patrolling in Udhampur. According to officials, the CRPF and Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel of the local police were attacked at 3.30 pm in Dudu, hinterland of Basantgarh. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Inspector Kuldeep Kumar was attached to the 187th Battalion. Kumar died while being taken to the hospital. The terrorists ran away after attacking him. However, a massive search operation is being conducted to trace these terrorists. The dead body of the martyred inspector has been taken to the district headquarters for postmortem. There have been two terrorist attacks in the forest area of ​​Basantgarh area since April. This attack has been carried out five days after the terrorist attack in Doda district. After today’s attack, the number of people who died in terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir this year has increased to 74. The 74 people killed include 21 security personnel and 35 terrorists. 30 people have been killed in terrorist attacks in five districts of Jammu and Kashmir, Doda, Kathua, Reasi, Poonch, Rajori this year. In which 14 security personnel and 6 terrorists are involved.
