In which Mumbai, Varanasi, Surat and Vizag have been selected. An elaborate plan has been prepared on how much India will develop by 2047 and how much India’s growth will increase especially through these four cities. Surat Economic Region’s contribution to India’s GDP is being planned with a target of Rs 1.5 trillion. Considering the way Surat city is progressing on the world stage today, this plan will also cover Surat district as well as Bharuch, Dang, Navsari, Tapi districts of South Gujarat.
