A Freedom Sena Express train from Jayanagar to New Delhi was pelted on the Muzaffarpur-Samastipur rail line in Bihar’s Samastipur on Thursday night. Many passengers have also been injured due to this stone pelting. The injured passengers were treated at Samastipur itself. Passengers were scared after sudden stone pelting at outer signal of Samastipur station on Thursday night. The incident of stone pelting on the train took place around 9.45 pm. After the incident, the train reached Muzaffarpur station 45 minutes late. According to media reports, as soon as it reached the outer signal, unknown people started pelting stones on the train. The stone pelting is said to have broken the windows of B1 and B2 coaches adjacent to the pantry car of the train.
