Heavy Rain In Ahmedabad: Meghraja has once again fallen amid the forecast of the Meteorological Department in Ahmedabad. Heavy rain has started in many areas of the city. It is raining in many areas including Sarkhej, Prahladnagar, ISKCON, Bhopal, Gota, SG Highway. After the rain, the atmosphere has cooled down. It is to be noted that Gujarat has received universal rainfall this year, but Ahmedabad and Rajkot have received 50 percent less rain.

Forecast of Meteorological Department in Gujarat:
Meteorological department has predicted moderate rainfall in most areas of north, central and south Gujarat on August 9. Light to moderate thundershower at most places of Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari and Valsad districts. There is a chance of rain. While in the district of Saurashtra-Kutch there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder at many places of Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Morbi, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Botad, Kutch.

Chance of light to moderate rain in the state from 10th to 14th August:

While the rains have been calm for the past few days, the Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rains in the state till August 14. Light to moderate thundershower at most places of Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari and Valsad districts. Rain is predicted. While many places of Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Morbi, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Botad, Kutch are likely to experience light to moderate rain with thunder.
