Due to heavy rains in many states of the country, there has been havoc and people’s life has been disrupted. Many states including UP have been receiving continuous rain for the past few days. In Bihar, the situation is worse. 274 schools have been closed here due to floods. While 20 schools are completely submerged in water. Hence, the examination starting from Wednesday has been postponed for now due to flood. Then there is a flood-like situation in 24 districts of UP. Ghaghra, Gandak, Ganga, Varuna rivers in UP have been affected by floods. 35 villages in Gonda district are completely submerged. Due to which the general life is being affected. On the other hand, surge in Saryu river is seen in Ayodhya. Many villages in Lakhimpur Kheri have lost contact with the district headquarters. About 300 villages in UP are completely submerged. Schools up to 8th have been closed in Prayagraj, Etawah and Mirzapur.

50 roads closed due to rains in Himachal:
50 roads were closed in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday due to incessant rain. There has been light rain in some districts of the state. 172 people have died due to rains in Himachal so far, while 30 people are still missing. Several districts of Jharkhand and Bengal are in the grip of floods. While 250 villages of Odisha have entered the flood waters. In many districts of South Bengal, the situation is bad due to floods. The barrages and dams here are full of water. Flood-like situation continues in many districts. Water has been released from Damodar Valley Corporation’s barrage. Because of which the situation is likely to remain bad for the next 2-3 days.
