Last month, the government announced the recruitment of 24,700 teachers in government schools amid agitation by TAT and TET candidates, but did not announce the recruitment of teachers for subjects like computers. Today on Tet Teacher’s Day Tet-Tat candidates reached Gandhinagar to submit their application letter to the Chief Minister.
As many as 25 candidates who had reached the Gandhinagar Secretariat for the agitation were detained from Gate No. 1, while other candidates gathered near Ch 3 Circle in Gandhinagar and started the Rasta Roko agitation. They are raising slogans with the demand of recruitment, increasing seats in recruitment, computer teacher. It is worth mentioning here that the candidates are agitating under the leadership of youth leader Yuvraj Singh.
