After a long break in Gujarat, Meghraja can make an entry again. According to the forecast made by the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in 27 districts of the state today. Cloudy weather with drizzle can be seen at various places in the state. Moderate rain is likely to occur in six districts of North Gujarat. Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar and Aravalli districts may experience scattered rain. Scattered light to moderate rain is likely at various places of Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari and Valsad districts of South Gujarat. Eight districts of Central Gujarat are Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara and Chhota Udepur with cloudy conditions. Chance of rain at isolated places over Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir-Somnath and Botad of Kutch and Saurashtra.

How many rains in Gujarat?

The state has so far received more than 125 percent of the season’s rainfall. The highest rainfall of the season is 183.32 percent in Kutch. Also, Saurashtra has received 129.74 percent of the season’s rainfall. So far, 129.37 percent of the season’s rain has fallen in South Gujarat. While 121.11 percent rain has already fallen in central Gujarat. Also, 107.66 percent rain has fallen in North Gujarat.
