JG University marked Independence Day with a spectacular Tiranga Yatra rally, drawing the enthusiastic participation of over 1,000 students. The rally, which embodied the spirit of patriotism and unity, was a central highlight of the university’s Independence Day celebrations.In alignment with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) initiative, “Har Ghar Tiranga,” JG University distributed more than 500 national flags to students. This initiative encourages the display of the national flag at homes and institutions across the country, fostering a sense of pride and connection to the nation.Dr. Achyut Dani, Director General & Provost of JG University, expressed, “Our Independence Day celebrations are not just about remembering our past but also about instilling a sense of national pride and unity among our students. The Tiranga Yatra and flag distribution are symbolic of our commitment to these values.”The Tiranga Yatra, which started from the university campus, witnessed students marching with the tricolor in hand, singing patriotic songs, and echoing slogans that celebrated India’s freedom and diversity. The sight of over 1,000 students united under the national flag was both inspiring and moving.The flag distribution, as part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative, aims to see the national flag flying high at homes and institutions, enhancing the spirit of patriotism and community involvement. This initiative not only encourages citizens to express their love for the country but also promotes a deeper understanding of the significance of the national flag.
