It is raining in Gandhinagar city and district as the monsoon season has become aggressive. Meghraja has been doing Mehr in the district for two days. Today (6th September) 3 inches of rain has been recorded in Gandhinagar from 6 am to 10 am. While 2.83 inches of rain has been recorded in Dehgam and 2 inches in Kapdwanj of Khedana. As a result of which the weather is getting cold, the townspeople have also got relief. On Thursday (5th September), the entire Gandhinagar district was covered with rain and it rained in Meghraja Manmooki. In Mansa Panthak, 4 inches of rain has been recorded during the day, 15 mm in Dehgam taluka and 19 mm in Kalol and more than one inch in Gandhinagar taluka. So people have got relief from the heat amid the rainy weather in Gandhinagar too. In the rural areas of Mansa taluk, Solaiya village was filled with knee-deep water, and the children also suffered due to water seeping into the school. Apart from this, it became difficult for the vehicles and the villagers to pass through the village. Even in Itadara village, the Panchayat office located in the middle of the village, the school was affected by water in front of the school. There are two systems active over the state today (6th September) and there is a possibility of heavy rain in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Vadodara. While Kutch, Morbi, Jamnagar, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Porbandar, Rajkot, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Botad, Surendranagar, Mehsana, Patan, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Anand, Kheda, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Chota Udepur, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Dang and Valsad may receive light to moderate rains.
