Police conducted separate raids in Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad rural districts and arrested 17 card lovers along with cash and gambling. When two persons escaped. According to the information received, the persons named Raju Dhirubhai Khokhani, Dinesh Babubhai Parmar, Mukesh Jadavbhai Solanki, Sagar Sureshbhai Solanki and Sagar Rajubhai Makwana were caught by the Dholera police while gambling in an open space near the house of Sardar House Raju Dhirubhai Khokhani in Dholera. In the second raid, Bhavnagar LCB nabbed Chirag Kishorebhai Bambania, Twik alias Bholun Sureshbhai Solanki, Bijal alias Billo Abhalbhai Shayal, Kishan Ashokbhai Chauhan with cash while gambling near the parking wall of Amit Complex near Mokhdaji Circle in the city. In the third incident, Palitana Rural Police picked up persons named Raju Lakhmanbhai Rathore, Arvind Ramjibhai Rathore and Kishore Valjibhai Parmar from Padar in Navghanvadar while playing gambling. While two gamblers named Alpesh alias Apo Jerambhai Jolia and Sajad alias Gajro Mohammadbhai Lakda escaped.
