Rajkot : Independent gaming activity areas and commercial structures like shopping malls and shopping complexes are also developing gaming activity areas in various cities of the state. The Chief Minister has taken a public interest decision to make the important provisions of Planning Regulation for Gaming Activity Areas in the CGDCR keeping in view the public safety, public security and public interest in the context of excessive crowd gathering in such Gaming Activity Areas. , Provisions of emergency exit and refuse area have also been made. It has also been clarified that BU certificate, Fire NOC and all other licenses, certificates, NOCs, permits etc. must be displayed at the place of gaming zone activity.

Decision taken after Rajkot TRP fire incident:
RAJKOT TRP. It is very important to provide separate planning regulations for gaming activity area and gaming activity area in commercial construction after game zone fire. Chief Minister has decided to make rules in this matter in public interest. In this new regulation, it is ensured that, previously obtained development permission/B .U. Revised permission has to be obtained as per the new regulation before starting use in permitted constructions. The Chief Minister has also given directions to be made in the new regulations of CGDCR to provide for penalty if the usage is started without permission.
