An incident of sexual abuse of two girls has come to light in a well-known school in Badlapur, Thane, Maharashtra. There is a lot of opposition regarding this. A large number of people are protesting at Badlapur railway station, due to which the train service is affected. In this matter, the police have arrested the accused cleaner Akshay Shinde. While the school has suspended the accused cleaner and the school has been closed for five days. People are making a lot of noise about the sexual abuse of a girl child in a school in Badlapur. Due to which 10 mail express trains have been diverted to Karjat-Panvel-Thane station so far. Local is running normally between CSMT and Ambernath. Services are closed from Badlapur to Karjat. Considering the sensitivity of this matter, the Maharashtra government has constituted an SIT to investigate. Meanwhile, the protesters vandalized the school and blocked the railway track.

Police appealed to people to maintain peace:

DCP Sudhakar Pathare said, ‘The accused was arrested within three and a half hours after the case was registered. The court has also sent him to police custody. Keep calm and cooperate with the police in the investigation. Strict action will be taken if any city organizes a bandh or demonstration, thereby obstructing the investigation.’
