Ahmedabad Traffic Problem Solution By Google Earth : Talking about the most serious problems of Ahmedabad, the traffic problem is one of the most complex problems. To prevent this, many projects are implemented by the police. However, often it does not meet the expected success. But Ahmedabad East DCP Safin Hasan has solved the traffic problem by using Google Earth image to solve the traffic problem at the important traffic junction in the eastern area of Ahmedabad. For the first time in Gujarat, the operation of traffic resolution has been carried out by Google Earth. When he took charge of the Ahmedabad Traffic Department (East), the traffic problem was worst at many important junctions in the eastern area of Ahmedabad. To solve this, the senior officers who had worked before him had undertaken many projects but the work could not be done as expected. So that they come to their area Thakkarbapa Nagar, CTM Junction, Dafnala Junction, Haridarshan Cross Road Junction, Sutrana Karkhana Junction, Naroda Utthi Junction, Krishnanagar Junction, Khodiyarnagar Junction, Hatkeshwar Junction, Naroda Mukti Dham Junction, Rakhial Char Rasta, Bhulabhai Char Rasta, Pirana. A special investigation was conducted in the areas including four roads. After that the project was implemented. Normalization of traffic movement at important junctions was necessary to alleviate the traffic problem in the eastern area. So an idea came to make maximum use of technology instead of stopping the staff continuously.

So the live traffic movement at all the junctions was checked at different times with the help of Google Earth. Due to the lack of dividers at most of the junctions, motorists used to take turns while crossing the road, causing accidents and causing traffic jams. Thus, dividers were prepared at most of the traffic junctions based on the traffic report at all junctions, due to which the motorists had to move around a bit while making haphazard turns. Thus, doing the work including installing dividers at all the junctions gave better results than expected. But if we see how successful this decision has been, traffic was not seen at the traffic junction which was seen earlier. Not only this, there was a huge decrease of 23.90 percent in the cases of fatal accident (accidental death). Along with this, there was an overall decrease of 8 percent in accident cases. Which shows that the technology of Google Earth has achieved significant success in solving the traffic problem of Ahmedabad East.
