BJP has started a membership campaign in Gujarat but it has received a huge response. Even though the BJP has been ruling Gujarat for 30 years, BJP has tried various candidates for membership. BJP’s membership campaign in controversy:
This time the BJP’s membership drive has been in controversy as Talati, teachers, panchayats, computer operators have been targeted. Apart from this, school-college students have been made BJP members. 500 is being offered to become a member. Members are not registered even after such notification. At the beginning of the membership drive, it was speculated that the BJP would register more members in Gujarat than in Uttar Pradesh, but it did not happen.
