The system was disrupted when the drivers of Akshayapatra, an organization that supplies food to schools run by the Nagar Primary Education Committee of Vadodara, went on an electric strike. In 130 schools of Vadodara Nagar Primary Education Committee, the non-exhaustible organization delivers meals through its own vehicles in both morning and afternoon shifts. However, the drivers of these vehicles went on a sudden strike this morning due to dissatisfaction with the salary and other demands. If the strike does not end, thousands of students studying in schools would not get food and the situation could be created where the students would remain hungry. Due to which the system was in a rush. An officer from the collector office rushed to the spot and ended the strike by explaining to the drivers. Because of this, food was sent to schools in vehicles. However, there were complaints of late arrival of meals in some schools. The drivers said that the food delivery operation is stopped when there is a vacation in the schools, but we were paid even for the vacation time till now. This time that salary has been withheld. which is given to us. Also, the employees who have been working on contract for 12 years should be made permanent and bonus should be given in Diwali.
