It has also been instructed that special care should be taken to ensure that Ganesha outside the city does not reach the Vadodara lakes and that it is immersed in the village. A meeting with various departments and leaders was held under the chairmanship of Police Commissioner Narasimha Komar for the peaceful immersion of Ganesha in Vadodara city. was held In this meeting, various departments were entrusted with the responsibility of police deployment, arrangement of cranes, rafts, swimmers etc. at each lake. The information about the artificial lake was given by Vadodara Corporation Commissioner Dilip Rana. It was said that in addition to the existing five artificial lakes, four additional artificial lakes will be created. Besides, necessary arrangements of flood lights, rafts and swimmers have been kept at each lake. In the meeting, the police commissioner instructed the provincial officer that Ganesha from outside the city of Vadodara should not come to Vadodara for immersion and it is necessary to make arrangements so that Ganesh is immersed in the villages itself. There was also a discussion about keeping enough water in artificial ponds. He also asked to make necessary changes in the traffic system on the day of Ganesh Visharan.
