Air India Flight Gets Bomb Threat: Air India flight has received a bomb threat. The flight was going from Delhi to Chicago. He was diverted to an airport in Canada after receiving a threat. An official associated with the airline gave information about this.
The official said, ‘On October 15, 2024, aircraft AI 127 flew from Delhi to Chicago. In a mail posted online about the security threat, it was landed at Canada’s Iqaluit airport as a precaution.’
In a statement to PTI, the airline said, ‘The flight has received a bomb threat. So the aircraft and passengers are being checked again as per the prescribed security protocol.’
An Air India flight from Mumbai to New York was diverted to Delhi after a bomb threat on Monday. The aircraft was thoroughly inspected following standard safety protocols. However, nothing suspicious was found during this time.
