The Municipal Corporation and Urban Development Authority are only trying to show off by building smart cities and iconic roads to compare Ahmedabad with Singapore. One example of this is the giant landslide in Ahmedabad’s Shela area.. It has been 85 days since this landslide has become a headache for people. But it has not been repaired yet.. It seems that the Chief Minister, MLAs and leadership are busy in a campaign to create a record number of members of their political party.
Locals are tired of complaining, mysterious silence of the system:
People who are busy with jobs and daily hustle and bustle protested a lot in the beginning, but now they are also tired of protesting. But even the water in the stomach of the administration is not moving. When will this land be completed, when will the road be opened, Shela residents and shopkeepers have presented in Auda. MLAs have been given petitions in person but all are mysteriously silent. Areas like Shela-Bhopal have been merged into Ahmedabad city. But there is complete lack of basic facilities including roads, roads, sewerage and water. On June 30, a heavy landslide hit Club O’Seven Road in Shela. Auda announced on July 9 that this road will be closed for 45 days due to landslides. But today it has been 85 days since the ground was laid, but the entire Bhuvo road is still not operational. The alternative road is known as ‘VIP’ which has been dug-repaired or made new even before the arrival of monsoon in June. So there is a 24 hour traffic jam on it. Other alternate roads are also broken due to monsoon. Potholes are more and smooth roads are less.
