He reached Kiev after a 10-hour train journey. where the President met with Zelenskiy. They will stay here for 7 hours. President Zelensky of Ukraine invited PM Modi to visit Ukraine a few months ago. Earlier, Modi and Zelensky met for the first time since the war during the G-7 summit in Japan in May 2023.

Prime Minister Modi met Ukrainian President Zelensky at the Mariinsky Palace. Meanwhile, there will be a bilateral meeting between the two leaders. Tributes to children killed in Ukraine:
The Indian community welcomed PM Modi in Kiev. He also went to see the National Museum of Ukraine. Where since February, 2022 tributes have been paid to the children killed in the war against Russia.
