A big news is coming from GMDC ground in Ahmedabad. A major tragedy occurred when the German Dome, prepared here during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Gujarat, was being taken down. Meanwhile, 9 people were injured after being buried under the dome. Out of which the condition of 2 is very serious. These domes were prepared by PAL Events.
When did the incident happen? :
According to the information, this incident took place while opening the dome. Here the workers who were opening one part also fell from above. However, fortunately this incident did not happen during the ongoing program due to which thousands of lives were saved. Because thousands of people attended the event.
An aggrieved worker narrated the incident:
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital in Vastrapur in a private vehicle. Where on getting information about this incident, the victim named Vishnu said that we were working to open this dome from a height of about 40 feet and at that time the dome fell due to which we also fell down. We were 12 people in total. The incident took place late at night at 3 o’clock. After that, a chaotic situation was created. Most of the people were injured so no one was understanding anything. Then we were taken to a hospital in nearby Vastrapur in a private vehicle. Fortunately there were no women workers with us. At present, the condition of two is said to be serious.It is worth mentioning that 4 huge waterproof German domes were prepared at GMDC ground in Ahmedabad for the meeting of Prime Minister Modi. Arrangements were made to seat 80 thousand to 1 lakh people.
