The biggest news is coming out from Gujarat administration. After the IAS Pooja Khedkar scandal, now the system has come into action. According to sources, about five IAS officers of Gujarat have been ordered to undergo medical examination again. This order has been given because there were allegations that they were recruited in the civil service on the basis of false disability certificates. After the incident of IAS Pooja Khedkar, the General Administration Department of Gujarat Government expressed doubts about the disability certificates of five IAS officers of Gujarat. One senior officer cited visual impairment while three junior officers cited ‘locomotive disability’ as reasons in their disabled certificates.

Handicapped certificate has to be resubmitted
Five IAS officers from Gujarat have to submit their disability certificate again. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has directed all the officers of All India Services to go through medical examination again and get disability certificate after the IAS officer Pooja Khedkar scam in Maharashtra.
Who will have to undergo the test?
According to sources, all IAS, IPS, and IFS officers in the state who have produced disability certificates have been ordered to undergo medical tests again at the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad. After that again this new disabled certificate has to be presented before UPSC.
