
Gandhinagar, Aug 29 Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will hold one-on-one meetings with senior representatives of major domestic and international companies in New Delhi on Monday as the state steps up preparations for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027 following his recent investment-focused visit to the United States and Canada.
The state government will organise the curtain raiser for the 11th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) at Bharat Mandapam on August 31. The main summit is scheduled to be held from January 10 to 12, 2027.
Patel returned to Gujarat on August 27 after leading a high-level delegation to the US and Canada to promote the summit and attract investment.
At Bharat Mandapam, Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi will address an interaction with industry leaders in the morning.
The Chief Minister is also scheduled to hold one-on-one meetings with representatives of TPREL, JSW MG Motor India, Schneider Electric India, DCM Shriram, Seoul Semiconductors, Shree Cement, Purvah Green Power, LG Energy Solutions, JBM Group, Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon, Max Healthcare, Uno Minda and ACMA, ACME Solar, Schwihag AG, AirTrunk, HIF Global, GHCL, Sber Bank, PB Fintech (parent company of PolicyBazaar and Paisabazaar), and Mankind Pharma.
The meetings will cover renewable energy, automobiles, semiconductors and electronics, cement, infrastructure, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, railways, artificial intelligence and data centres, IT and business process management, chemicals, and banking, financial services and insurance.
According to the state government, the discussions will focus on investment opportunities, expansion plans and strategic partnerships.
The state will also highlight its industrial infrastructure and policies as it seeks to attract investments in emerging and established sectors.
Patel’s New Delhi engagements come days after his US and Canada tour, during which the Gujarat delegation met investors, technology companies, entrepreneurs and business representatives in San Francisco, Washington DC, New York and Toronto.
The discussions included opportunities in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, data centres, manufacturing and financial services linked to GIFT City.
After returning to Gujarat, Patel said the visit had generated interest among companies and investors. “Many companies are enthusiastic about investing in Gujarat,” he said, adding, “Very good investment will come to Gujarat.”
The evening session on August 31 at Hotel Taj Palace will bring together heads of diplomatic missions and senior Central government officials, with Patel and Sanghavi scheduled to participate in the interaction.
The curtain raiser is intended to build momentum for the January summit and follow up on the international outreach undertaken ahead of VGGS 2027.
