Ahmedabad, May 2026 – In a remarkable display of academic excellence, students from Ahmedabad have brought laurels to the city with their outstanding performance in the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) examinations for the academic year 2025–26. This year’s SOF Olympiad witnessed participation from millions of students across 72 countries, including more than 19 thousand students from Ahmedabad.
Among the top performers, Jatin Sharma (Class 5) from Shanti Asiatic School in the International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) and Armaan Mehta (Class 2) from Ahmedabad International School in the International English Olympiad (IEO) secured International Rank 1 and will be awarded Gold Medals. Meanwhile, Panshul Trishir Bhatt (Class 3) from Zebar School for Children-CBSE secured International Rank 2 in the National Science Olympiad (NSO) and will receive a Silver Medal, while Gauranshi Jain (Class 3) from Apollo International School secured International Rank 3 in the International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) and will be awarded a Bronze Medal. The students will also be honoured with Certificates of Outstanding Performance and Certificates of Distinction.
