The PRISM-SG portal has been developed to digitise key approval and inspection processes related to the construction of Road Over Bridges (ROBs). It covers critical components such as Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Welding Procedure Specification Sheets (WPSS), and fabrication-stage inspections of steel girders.

Designed as an end-to-end digital platform, PRISM-SG enables seamless online processing—from document submission and technical scrutiny to approvals, inspection scheduling, and report uploads. The system is supported by real-time monitoring capabilities and a comprehensive audit trail, ensuring accountability at every stage.

The platform brings together all key stakeholders, including Road Owning Departments, Indian Railways, contractors, fabricators, and inspection agencies, thereby streamlining coordination across multiple entities.

The initiative is expected to significantly reduce approval timelines from approximately 12 months to just 3–4 months, facilitating faster project execution, improved transparency, and timely delivery of critical infrastructure projects across the country.
