Swiggy (Swiggy Ltd, NSE: SWIGGY / BSE: 544285), India’s pioneering on- demand convenience platform, recently partnered with the Ahmedabad Traffic Department to organize asession on Road Safety and Traffic Awareness for its delivery partners, under the ambit of Delivering Safely,its road safety charter. The session aimed to sensitize delivery partners on safe driving practices, adherence to traffic rules, and theconsequences of traffic violations. The session was organized under the leadership of senior traffic officialsincluding Shri. Chirag Patel, DCP, Ahmedabad Traffic Department and Smt. P.A. Marwad ACP, AhmedabadTraffic Department, and saw participation from over 170 delivery executives.For Swiggy, the safety and well-being of its delivery partners and the wider community remain of primaryimportance. Over the past 4 years, Swiggy has been organizing road safety and traffic awareness trainingsessions for its delivery partners, in collaboration with the Traffic Police Departments across various cities.The sessions are conducted under the Delivering Safely Charter and focus on adherence to trafficregulations and reducing risky behaviours. In 2025, Swiggy organized 22+ Road Safety Awareness sessionsacross cities including Mumbai, Patna, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Delhi, Ghaziabad,Noida, Velachery and Agartala, reaching thousands of delivery partners. In January 2026, Swiggy organizedRoad Safety Awareness sessions across a number of cities in the country, in partnership with the city trafficpolice departments.Alongside these initiatives, every delivery partner is covered under road insurance, undergoes mandatorysafety training at the time of onboarding, and is regularly engaged through sensitization drives. These effortsreflect Swiggy’s commitment to creating a safer ecosystem for both its delivery fleet and the communities they serve.
