In a unique initiative aimed at promoting positive engagement and mental well-being among inmates, Vadodara Central Jail on Wednesday evening organized a special screening of the Gujarati hit film Lalo for nearly 1,700 prisoners. The screening was held in the open ground near the main tower of the jail, where inmates gathered to enjoy the film in a relaxed, outdoor setting.The event was arranged with the cooperation of Vadodara MP Dr. Hemang Joshi and coordinated by Jail Superintendent Usha Rada and Deputy Superintendent Mukesh Chaudhary. The film’s lead actors were also present during the screening, interacting with inmates and boosting their morale.
