The 38th edition of the Garment Technology Expo (GTE) Ahmedabad 2025, co-located with the Lace & Trims Show, was inaugurated today at the Helipad Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in the presence of leading industry dignitaries, marking yet another milestone in India’s apparel technology journey. The three-day event, being held from 7th to 9th November 2025, is poised to be the largest garment technology showcase in the region. Featuring over 225 brands across 50,000 sq. ft., the expo is expected to draw 15,000+ visitors, including manufacturers, exporters, and technology providers from across India and neighbouring states.
Supported by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and approved by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), the event is jointly organised by Garment Technology Expo Pvt. Ltd. (GTE) and India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML), underscored the timely relevance of the event, noting that GTE 2025 comes at a moment when supportive government initiatives and strong market sentiment have created an ideal climate for technological advancement. He remarked that Gujarat, as a global textile leader, stands to benefit immensely as the expo brings manufacturers closer to world-class machinery and equipment essential for meeting international quality benchmarks. Added that IEML remains committed to driving industry growth and ensuring that businesses have seamless access to the tools that can elevate production to the next level.
Shri Arpan Shah, Senior Vice President, Gujarat Garment Manufacturers Association (GGMA), said, “Gujarat has always been at the forefront of apparel manufacturing, and GTE Ahmedabad continues to strengthen this legacy. By bringing together the latest technology and skilled entrepreneurs, the event provides a unique opportunity to accelerate our industry’s modernisation and global competitiveness.”
