‘Sansad Khel Pohet-2024’ has been organized with the aim of encouraging sports, culture and sportsmanship among the athletes of Vadodara. This sports competition will continue till January 12. A large number of child and youth athletes were present at the inauguration ceremony at the city’s Sama Sports Complex. The Union Minister, who was present on this occasion, said that earlier it was the case that studies were given more importance than sports for children. But now sports are being accepted as a profession. Sports maintain mental and physical health. The MP from Vadodara said that about 15 thousand competitors from Vadodara are participating at various stages. Which includes Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Judo, Yoga, Table Tennis, Chess, Karate, Malkham, Volleyball, Athletics, Football. The competitions will increase interest in sports among the youth.
