Meanwhile, the entire area was transformed into a battleground with lathi charge, stone pelting and use of water cannon. Interestingly, the case of illegal construction of a mosque in Sanjoli is 14 years old and is pending in the Shimla Municipal Corporation Court. Recently, this matter came to the fore after an incident of fighting. Not only the BJP but many Congress leaders are supporting increased scrutiny of people coming from outside states. Malyana area of ​​Shimla falls under Kusumpati Assembly and Congress Minister Anirudh Singh is the MLA here. In the second fortnight of August, 37-year-old Vikram Singh, who ran a shop in Malyana, was beaten up by a youth and his friends. The attackers are Muslims. He hails from an out-of-state and runs a small business in Shimla. A slight altercation took place between the two parties, after which a fight broke out. The accused attacked Vikram Singh with sticks and rods. Due to which Vikram Singh got 14 stitches in his head which was seriously injured. Dhari police arrested six accused in this case, out of which two were minors.
