Krishnakantbhai Anandbhai Ajudia (Patel), the proprietor of a firm running under the name of Rishabh Metals in Dared, GIDC, Jamnagar, when he needed money for business work, borrowed Rs. 2,50,000 from Lakhdhirsinh Nathubha Chudasama and Rs. 2,50,000 from Rajendrasinh Bhikhubha Jethwa, both of whom lived in Jamnagar. And he gave cheques to both the persons to repay the amount taken from both the people. So when those cheques were presented in the bank by Lakhdhirsinh Nathubha Chudasama and Rajendrasinh Bhikhubha Jethwa, both the cheques were returned due to insufficient funds. So Lakhdhirsinh Nathubha Chudasama and Rajendrasinh Bhikhubha Jethwa filed separate criminal complaints against Krishnakantbhai Anandbhai Ajudia (Patel) before the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Jamnagar under the section of The Negotiable Instruments Act. In which the court has ordered Krishnakantbhai Anandbhai Ajudia (Patel) to appear before the court. In which the accused Krishnakantbhai Anandbhai Ajudia denied committing the crime, so both the cases were going to court. The accused Krishnakantbhai Anandbhai Ajudia has been convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment in both the cases under the section of the Negotiable Instruments Act. And Lakhdhirsinh Nathubha Chudasama has been ordered to pay a fine of Rs. 2,50,000 and Rajendrasinh Bhikhubha Jethwa has been ordered to pay a fine of Rs. 3,00,000 as compensation. And if he fails to pay the fine, he has been ordered to undergo another six months of simple imprisonment.
